River Description

This is a difficult run for most paddlers. Scout 20' waterfall. While all rapids have been run, most people walk a few. Generally a long, hard, rewarding day.

Due to some persons trashing the boy scout camp, we can no longer park on the property. You must park at the turnaround just prior to the camp. The camp ranger is David Michael, phone 256-228-6913.

See also the description in AlabamaWhitewater.com, which points out that the putin is actually on Bryant Creek, which one floats for almost 3 miles before the confluence with Jones.

Named drops include:
Nasty falls
Pencil sharpner
Circle back
the Dog
Lumberjack
Freight Train
Casey Jones
Slots o Luck
Ass-hole
